Emma Trutna is the seven year old daughter of Josh and Jessica Trutna. Emma lives in Wahoo, NE where she has shown cattle for three years and has shown at Saunders County Fair, Iowa State Fair, and Junior Nationals. Her most memorable thing about being an ALJA member is meeting kids from all around. Emma says the biggest thing cattle has taught her is to work hard, even if you don’t always win. Emma is apart of Trutna Cattle with her parents and sisters, Lexi and Taylor. Emma has won several awards in her three years that include Reserve Champion Intermediate Heifer at Junior Nationals, Third place heifer at Junior Futurity Show, four Reserve Division Champions (one from Junior Nationals and three from Iowa State fair in two different years). She also got Reserve in the Junior Livestock Judging Competition for her age group. A long with showing cattle Emma also shows dogs. In her free time she plays T-ball, plays with her sisters, goes fishing, and loves to go squirrel hunting!
